Here you can see our bridle on top and another nylon bridle below. Notice how our bridle has some body to it. Our blind cups have a steel liner covered with leather .T he crown piece has 3 ply heavy nylon. The lower bridle has half the material in the crown , no noseband and the blind cups are made of plastic the consistency of a plastic oil bottle?????
Here we can see a blind cup from another nylon harness. Just a piece of plastic that could bend and fold in the wind. Our blind cup is made of steel and covered with leather.
On top is our browband. Lined with vinyl and has 2 rosettes. Below is a browband with no lining, no rosettes and made of thin single ply nylon. Our browband is 2 ply and each ply is half as thick again as the lower one. |
Here we see the crown pieces. Our crown piece is substantial and you can see the quality. The lower one is just a nylon strap. |
Here we see the saddles. Ours has a real tree and vinyl backing with a good amount of padding. The lower one is just a nylon strap with a piece of felt sewn on. No tree and no padding and how do you clean this felt without a washing machine. Ours you can just wipe off. One of the reasons for nylon is ease of maintenance. |
Now here is something. Our crooper is leather. The lower one is just a piece of plastic hose slid over the nylon strap. No wonder nylon harness gets such a bad wrap. Ours has 2 buckles for adjustment the other one you can't even adjust. |
Now here is our breast plate with padding and easy clean vinyl lining. We use buckle in traces. Our neck strap is nice and wide and has rein loops. Check out the one to the right. Note: Mini size does not have the buckle in traces. |
Thin flimsy neck strap. No rein loops and no buckle in traces. The breast plate is lined with felt. Just think about cleaning that after the first one or two uses. If you don't clean it then the built up soil will surely cause severe chaffing. |
This is the hip strap. You can just see the difference here. |
The water hook to the left is ours . It is solid stainless steel. The one on the right is a piece of bent wire welded to a stud. |
Here is our breeching. Again lined and padded. Check out the one to the right. Which would you like to see on your friend. |
Here is another manufacturers breeching. No lining . This is for sure a chaffing problem waiting to happen. |

You be the judge. For the same price there is no comparison in looks and performance. We know because we have used them both.

I was surprised at the quality of this harness for the price. It fits great. Great customer service helping me place my order which was shipped fast. Would buy another one again.

I bought this harness for training my yearling mule. She will be growing and changing quickly so I did not want to spend much for a harness than may not fit anything I have in just a few months. There is a lot of quality in this harness at a great price.

I purchased one for our draft horse, we used it for training after 3 years of hard use it looked great. It is adjustable to fit a nice range if you buy the correct size. I would recommend this harness to anyone that will be using it on a regular basis.
